I get really bad headaches?!

Question: I've been getting headaches for about eight years now.
I get headaches everyday and migraines every couple of months.
Last night my head hurt so bad i could barely move.
I had to keep my eyes closed tight shut because i didn't want to see any light.
It took me about an hour to even go and get the asprin because i didn't want to get up at all.
I've had a catskin and an MRI, they couldn't find anything wrong with me.
What can i do to help prevent these headaches?

I have suffered from chronic headaches for many years also. I have found several things that help, but unfortunately do not completely eliminate my headaches.
Here are a few things you might try:

1. I have to avoid chocolate, monosodium glutamate (msg), citrus fruits and juice, soy in all forms, and pork. I also avoid corn syrup and refined sugar whenever possible. Frankly, I do better when I make everything I eat from scratch. It's a pain, but I also have lost more than 30 pounds since I started cooking from scratch last year. :)

2. When you take pain medication for a headache, drink a short cup of unflavored coffee with it. For some reason the caffeine makes the medicine work faster and stronger. On the other hand, drinking too much coffee can cause a headache. Don't drink more than 2 or 3 cups a day.

3. Make sure you get enough but not too much sleep. It's ironic that both lack of sleep and too much sleep are often migraine triggers.

4. Take time to move and stretch. Whether I am working at the computer or doing housework, I stop every hour or so and do arm and shoulder circles, stretch my neck by slowly turning my head side to side and up and down, and walk around a bit. This way I don't get as tense, which is another migraine trigger for me.

5. Talk to your doctor about migraine prevention and ask about migraine pain medication. If they aren't willing to take the time to listen and work with you to create a pain management plan, find a doctor who will.

I hope this helps :)

I take Imitrex or Maxalt.

I also take a beta blocker to prevent daily migraines.

There are also drugs like Topomax & Depakote for them, too.

You need to see a doctor for prevention/treatment.

Well, my friend gets those very often and i'm not sure what you call it but she has some type of magnetic wrist band thing that supposedly prevents migraines. Don't quote me on the details, all I know is that it helps her.

I'm not sure if you've heard or not, but Tahitian Noni Juice works at the cellular level. "Noni" is a French word that means "a gift from God." Tahitian Noni Juice is listed in the PDR "Physicians Desk Reference". This is the book your Dr. refers too when prescribing your medication. Tahitian Noni Juice has no adverse side affects! It's documented. Visit www.tahitiannoni.com/FeelFabulous for more information and to order your Tahitian Noni Juice. If not satisfied for ANY reason there is a 100% gaurantee. Risk FREE!
