How do you manage stress and high levels of anxiety?!

Question: There are several ways to manage stress and high levels of anxiety:
1. Drop everything and think for a second why you are going through so much stress... is it because of love life, social life, financial reasons, weight problems, school, etc.
2. Be aware of your surroundings and FIND SOLUTIONS.
3. Do not... I reap eat... do not drown yourself in your own glass of water.
4. Unless you are in more than $100,000 of debt, there are always ways to solve certain issues...
5. Know how to manage your time wisely.
6. You have to believe in it yourself, after you find your solutions and while you are trying to achieve your goals, that everything happens for a reason and that sooner or later, for everything that you are actually working for right now, you are going to be successful.
7. With everything in mind, do keep eating healthy and exercising constantly because the the mind and soul is what keeps us all young and sane.
8. From time to time, find something you like... and don't be afraid to pamper yourself. Ex: for women (go get your nails done), for men (go get a nice massage or go shopping for tools).
9. Don't ever let your stress level affect others that are around you.
10. In time when you want to give up... make sure you look up... and thank God that we are still alive.

There are several methods of relaxation; yoga, meditation, deep breathing, visualization of a calming scene, exercise, and rest. We actually create our own stress in the way we react to external conditions. I always ask myself, will this really matter a hundred years from now? You can refuse to give in to stressful situations. I know it isn't easy, and could take quite a while. The same goes for anxiety. If it's your job that's causing you stress, or a relationship that's not going well, you can take steps to ease the stress by getting another job, or just trying to let things roll off your back. I know it's easier said than done, but it has worked for me. If all else fails, have your doctor put you on a mild tranquilizer. Good luck!

Nice hot baths :)

By exercising.
When I was doing my degree, one of my lecturers told students that stress/anxiety releases adrenalin into the body which can got rid of by exercise.
It works really well because it also releases endorphins into the body which makes you feel better.

I bite my lip and run away from the source of the noise. That's what usually stresses me out.

If it's something else, I take a deep breath and a big drink of water, then do a short writing session if I can.

Propranolol, 5htp and Rhodiola Rosea.

It was 4 me all about changing habits and doing things more slowly.
For instance, if you cannot tolerate the thought of sleep, change your attitude to it .
Do not go to bed and toss and turn all night.
If u cannot sleep within half an hour, get up again and do something constructive like writing a letter. After an hour return to bed and try again...repeat the process if necessary.
This can be true of most situations, if we fundamentally change our approach to them and the speed with which we do them.
I am not saying it is easy, because it most certainly isnt, and it will take time. But it does work.
Good luck to you my friend..You entering a huge battle, but it is one in which you can rise the victor
