Am i the only person who honestly doesn't like drinking?!
Question: i cannot stand drinking alcohol, I've tried, it seems like it would be nice to get sloshed once in a while but all it does is make my stomach hurt, give me a headache and make me feel dizzy after drinking a couple beers or shots, i never keep going till i am "feeling good" because it makes me feel like crap. is there something wrong with me or is this more common then i think?

I have that too! no worries. i hate the taste, the feeling and the pain it causes...
nuh i dont like drinking either, makes people stupid.
but on a plus side, it temporarily increased testosterone levels, so give lots to your girlfriend and she'll wana root you.

It doesn't give me bad effects like you, but I don't enjoy it that much. Most of what I taste tastes like crap anyways, but everyone has to follow the crowd, and work it into every conversation, try to prove they're cool, gets sad after a while!
I know lots of people who don't drink for that reason. You might have an allergy. Your body knows what it doesn't like and lets you know, so just don't drink. Me, I love Margaritas.
I WISH I could feel like you do about alcohol. Be proud of who you are and that you don't feel that way about alcohol. You don't need alcohol to feel good about you and who you are as a person.

You'd be surprised how many people don't like any type of liquor. It's all around us from the time we sit down to watch football games with dad and the guys including college friends from the commercials and ads. It's expected we'll grow into it to be "macho man." If you don't like the taste or anything about it, what's the problem?
Just think, you'll never get arrested for DUI or DWI, won't kill someone in passion as seen on tv news all the time from being extremely drunk, won't kill someone or maim them if very drunk and hit someone by automobile, won't have guilt because your non-drinking problem didn't hurt someone else, you won't be an alcoholic, you won't cost your employer's health insurance more as you don't need detoxed, you won't miss days at work for being sober, you won't have a police record for it, you won't beat up your wife and kids or kill them being sober, your liver will be healthy not needing a transplant turning it into a pickled one, it's a way to avoid some cancers, sober people don't fight and divorce as much as alcoholics do, your children have a lesser chance by following your example not drinking than if you were alcoholic, no one ever knows with that first drink if THEY will be an alcoholic, you are saving money not drinking, you won't wake up in a strange place with a woman wondering what happened last night, no one will lace your drink, your brain cells are better, less chance to become diabetic from being sober, you won't get thrown out of a bar to go find another, your less apt not to shoot another hunter than if you had drunk too much, some barfly won't pick you up, being not drunk you are less likely to get hit walking home or somewhere if you lost your keys or ran out of gas or couldn't figure out how to put the key in the ignition, your neighbors and relatives won't call you a drunk or alcoholic, you don't have to go to AA and your family to Al A NON or Al A Teen, you won't get fired because you're sober, you won't lose everything because you're sober, your kids won't be messed up from you being sober, you won't have to go through withdrawl, you won't wreck your vehicle because you're sober, your family will not be at wits end with you being sober, your family won't hate you for being sober, loose lips sink ships when not sober, you won't be homeless from being sober, etc.
