What do you do to keep yourself healthy?!


Question: Please be more specific on the subject, Don't just say good food, good sleeping, excercise,etc.... I want to know what exactly makes your body more healthy according to your own experiences.


Answers: Please be more specific on the subject, Don't just say good food, good sleeping, excercise,etc.... I want to know what exactly makes your body more healthy according to your own experiences.

Avoid junk food, or food with high preservatives (microwavable dinners and other such foods),

go easy on the salt,

eat LOTS of vegetables and fruits,

drink plenty of milk,

eat cooked lean meat (avoid fat),

regular excersise (daily, whether it be situps, running, or a full workout, try to do SOMETHING physical for at least 20 minutes a day)

Make sure to take vitamins

LAUGH! ENJOY LIFE! (Not only will it help make you healthier, but FELL BETTER, while doing it).

REDUCE STRESS (HUUUUUGE). Try your best to reduce it, but if it's not possible as much as you'd like, try to lighten up and roll with the punches and just RELAX. Stress is a huuuge contributor to illnesses and health problems - big and small.

CONSCIOUSLY CHECK ALL THESE THINGS, a few times a day. It takes a while, and requires determination, but this is possibly the BIGGEST THING people forget to do. They thikn they're on the right track after 2 days to sticking to this lifestyle, then they let their guard down, and before you know it, they're chompin' down on fast food, and eating potatoe chips while watching TV at night.

i'm 50, and keeping up with my 38 year old girlfriend has done wonders for my health.

learn to listen to you....and eat what it tells you.......vitamins , protien,and sometimes its not what you try to do to be healthy its what you shouldnt do.
