I'm not sure, but it sounds for all the world like hot flashes that women have.
Just because you are a male does not mean you don't also have hormonal issues or that they are in normal ranges.
Call your doctor and check it out with him. He may want to check you out just to make sure you don't have a hormonal 'imbalance' of some kind. This could also be your thyroid. You really should see a Doctor about it.
I think you had a disorder of the part of the body that controls sweat. I get that when I'm sleeping in dirty sheets, and feel very nervous, and is hot.
All I know is that my star may get you a better answer than this. Two of my nurse friends are on right now and may see it.
