Help! i think i might have a bruised organ..if possible!?!

Question: im 14 and i've been having this slight pain on my left side on the edge of my rib, kinda just before my rib curves around. i noticed it on friday in gym class when i couldn't run at all without it hurting. also, after i eat, i notice it more than before. i've looked up body diagrams and stuff to see whats over there but nothings there...i thought that maybe i just bruised some tissue under the skin and couldn't see anything or feel anything abnormal about it. sooo, could it just be a slight bruising?... help please!

Sometimes that happens to me too. It's weird cause after eating and then you do an extremely energizing action, your appendix is the one supposed to be hurting, right? Anyway, having bruises is known as a closed wound injury and is dangerous if it does not heal in a week or so because that means some blood vessels have been deprived of the oxygen they need. So if it still persists after a week or so, ask your family doctor already. It could be just a complication or something.

it could be a kidney problem. You should see a doctor ASAP.

probably just a muscle cramp or growth spurt. maybe your diaphram... but you're at the age where you're growing so I won't worry too much unless it sticks around for a while.

GO TO THE DOCTORS.....ASAP!

Something of that nature would probably cause a lot of pain and need emergency assistance. If you didn't puncture your skin then I deem it logically impossible to have bruised your organ. Even a traumatic shake or thrust forced on your body would leave your organs untouched. They are vital to your bodily functioning thats why you have a rib cage.

Maybe you have a problem with your organs but bruising isn't it. Maybe its nothing at all and you are scared something is a matter. There are all types of reasons your stomach area may cause pain. Gastritis (bad gas), diverticulitis (pocket's inside your intestine where food gets caught) could be your problem if your experience pain every time you eat for a long time (years). Only a doctor can help you with a serious problem like the ones mentioned above. Chances are there is nothing wrong you, especially, if you were working out at the gym. Maybe its an issue with your abdominal muscles. Maybe they are getting Stronger! Chill out.
