Is this a siezure?!

Question: Both my cousin and I have had this happen:

We are perfectly aware of what is happening around us and can communicate with others completely coherently, but we cannot see. Our eyes are wide open, but we cannot see a thing.

If it is a seizure, does anyone know what type it may be?

It doesn't really sound like any seizure I have see in my years in the ER, but possibly some kind of petite mal seizure activity. In seizures you can't communicate with others while you are having the seizure. I'd get it checked out with a Neurologist or someone in that realm.

It's called being blind.

You need to both see a neurologist.
