Maxalt for Migraines?!
Question: Does anyone know if you can take Maxalt for Migraines? What is Maxalt usually prescribed for? and how should you take it?

Its used PRN which basically means you take it when you need to ie: at the start of a migraine attack. For me thats when you start getting the flashing lights before the headache! Is very effective but I found it wacked me out and I needed to rest for quite a long time. I felt like id been drinking on them. They are very strong so only take what has been prescribed and if you get any side effects go back to your GP.
ive been prescribed maxalt for migraines, its the only thing that gives me any relief.
simply let one slowly dissolve on your tongue when you feel an attack coming
I don't know what maxalt is and cannot say if you can use it or not. HOWEVER! I used to have migraines for many years and I found that if I could get some aspirin down the hatch as soon as I realized one was on the way I could stop them in their tracks. But it must be taken asap or forget it.
