Are chiropractors real healers or witch doctors?!

Question: Dr. David Palmer was the individual who pioneered chiropractic medicine. The field arose when he noticed that a deaf patient had incredibly bad posture and Palmer asked the guy if he could try something new... the guy told him to go ahead and try, so Dr. Palmer adjusted the guy and his hearing came back. Dr. Palmer thought he discovered how to cure deafness and took ads out in major newspapers and magazines. When he came to work he had an office full of deaf people of which he could help none of them, but since he had success on the one he thought it was worth examining better what he did and what works and doesn't work. Chiropractors go through extensive collegiate training, but their methodology is a bit backwards if you ask my opinion. They crack and pop to adjust the body, to relieve pent up pressure and to improve posture and flexibility, but a skilled massage therapist can get the same results way faster simply by going through the muscles and fascia without popping and cracking and without having subsequential residual pains that require people to always come back. Cracking and popping to release pressure is good for the moment, but that pressure is likely to rebuild in the same area, and even in others, all according to the bodies new balance.

They are doctors. Real ones that graduate from University.

Real doctors. But not the kind that perscribes medicine. The kind that realignes your bones. Very handy when you've been in a car accident.

Chiropractors are the real healers & the real deal. They correct misalignments of the spine & joints and do it without drugs. A chiropractor goes through the same training as a medical doctor then branch off to specialize. They go to university for 7 years before they can graduate with this specialty.

If you are ever in a car accident and have a whip lash injury, see a chiropractor within 24 hours and you will be pain free with only a few adjustments over the course of a couple of weeks. I have gotten rid of my migraine headaches, he has adjusted my pelvis to correct a problem I had with knee pain and pain while walking. He has adjusted to help get rid of the pain of sciatica, and the horrendous pain I get in my neck from 2 whiplash injuries & a compression injury.

If didn't see a chiropractor I would most likely be addicted to pain medication, walking with a limp & twisted spine. All the doctors I had seen just wanted to put me on anti-inflammatory medications & muscle relaxers.

witch doctors that cause more problems.

They are real doctors that specialize in a certain practise. I have chronic spine issues between the C5-C7. Unfortunately, my issues have been diagnosed to be beyond what a chiropractor can help, so they would be of no use to me. However, I have a friend who also has spine issues that are controlled wonderfully through chiropractic therapy.
