Am I overdoing it on excersising?!

Question: Im 16 years old and weigh 261 pounds. All this week ive been walking 30 minutes to an hour and a half each day. I wake up at 1pm, walk, then eat a snack, then eat dinner. I woke up during the morning around 9 and felt like confused. It was a weird feeling. And then I woke up at like noon and felt well awake. I didnt feel tired. I think im overdoing it on excersising and i dont think im eating right. I watch my portions though. I also dont drink soda.

So should I go to sleep more early? And get up maybe at 9 or 10? Maybe cut my walking to an hour a day? And also eat more fruits as snacks between meals? Diabetis runs in my family. Or maybe walk 2 hours a day? One hour in the morning and one hour in the evening?

Iive had chronic fatique to almost a year and constipation. Now im trying to do something about it. Im also getting a treadmill in a week.

Walking is a great step towards being healthy, but don't over-do it. Make sure you eat a healthy meal filled with protein so that you have energy and so that you don't become faint. Great job with the soda, the caffeine and its other effects can create significant weight gain, so props to you on that!! You should try to sleep early so you can get a head-start with your exercising. Not to mention the energy that you need in order to excersize. Do, eat more fruits and snacks because it will provide energy for you.
As a diabetic myself i know that one would try to prevent it, on the path that your on, it looks like you will remain healthy. Just keep up the good work, and don't slack. Although it runs in the family, there is a chance that you won't get it because of your dieting and good habits, but no one can guarantee it. Two hours of walking is just about right for your age and weight. Your fatigue is most likely resulting in your lack of sleep. One should aim to get at least 7-8 hrs of sleep each day and this actually does affect weight loss programs believe it or not... A treadmill will be great for your routine, just make sure you keep a good pace and don't start off quickly because you will get tired earlier and loose less calories. Take laxatives or fiber for the constipation and get sleep. You'll be fine, don't worry too much. Good luck with everything!

It's hard to give good answers because people's bodies are very different and what's enough for one person isn't enough for another. Feeling odd when you wake up can just mean you didn't get enough sleep, especially since you woke up early.

'Watching your portions' doesn't really mean eating right. Making sure you get a variety of food is more important than not eating too much. If you're not getting enough fruit then sure, eat more fruit. Listen to your body.

The walking sounds fine as long as you're not hurting yourself. Just make sure you get some rest and eat all the vitamins you need.
