If I get a noselift in a Military Hospital would it be safe to get my nose done !
Question: I have a problem with my nose it's between flat and average and I want to go to a Military hospital so they can fix my nose.
What kind of doctors do they have there? Are they good or bad?

military doctors do not do cosmetic surgery unless it's reconstructive..if you are a military dependent on tri-care we would refer you to a rhinoplastic surgeon...all military members and or dependants are allowed one elective surgery during their careers...usually people go for the lasic eye surgery..sometimes a breat augmentation...but rhinoplasty is still an option I believe..you just have to convince tri-care that you feel uncomfortable with your body and it would benifit you psychologically to have this done (same thing with the breast augmentation). You have to get a consult through your provider...then they will make you fill out some forms and refer you to the approved doctor.
Military hospitals ARE NOT training hospitals...University hospitals are training hospitals..before a military doctor or civilian doctor touches you in a military facility they have to be board certified.

If you are not a military member and or a dependent...then you can't use the military facilities unless it is an absolute emergency and you were brought here by military emergency transport...if you are talking about a VA hospital...that's completely different, and no...for the most part they do not have a very good team of doctors..adequate, but there job is mostly to maintain the health of retired military members and dependents, and they do a lot of referrals.
plastic surgery only makes u look worse. if u think guys like that sort of thing ur mistaken. we dont care about ur nose.
Be aware that military hospitals are teaching hospitals. Other than that, your results will depend on your Doctor's talent and experience.
