Stomach Issues getting worse, what is wrong with me?!

Question: i am 15 years old and am 5'2" . normal right?. well i've had stomach problems for over 2 years now. they seem to be getting much worse and have started to interuppt daily life. first it started off as everyday like 2 years ago i would get up to eat a bowl of cereal with milk and when i was finished i started to get cramps in my stomach and then i had really bad diaherra. this continued to happen until i simply quit eating cereal and milk altogether. well over time i have come to the realization that dairy was making me ill. it started out as only some things making me sick. now its anything even with the smallest amount of dairy. i can't even eat a hershey's chocolate kiss without having stomach problems. also i get very sick after eating greasy foods. anything greasy and i'm almost about to vomit. it's awful. i feel embarrassed about my stomach problems because i feel like it's gross because i'll have bad gas. does anyone know what is wrong. i hate to see doctors.

Sounds like you may be lactose intolerant (allergy to milk). Could be gluten intolerant too (wheat, barley, rye and sometimes oats). The greasy sometimes signals an ulcer (which can be due to a bacteria h-pylori).

You could be allergic to milk. That is very common. It is called lactose intolerance. Try soy milk instead of cow's milk. If it continues, you will have to see a Dr.

Do you hate seeing doctors more than being embarrassed and sick?
The only way to be diagnosed is to see a doctor. There are any number of things that could be wrong. Lactose intollerance is only one. You need to find out exactly what you can and can't eat then you won't be sick anymore.

It sounds to me like you have a sensitive stomach. I used to be able to eat a couple bowls of cereal with no problem, but now, one small bowl cramps me up. Simply avoid the foods which make you ill. Chances are, you are doing your body a favor by avoiding unhealthy, greasy foods anyway. I think the best medicine for this feeling is Pepto-Bismol. Eat healthy and maybe this will subside. You may also have IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This is very common. Well, I hope something I said helps. I hope you feel better soon.

I would say you are very Lactose Intolerant. About the greasy foods though, well, that makes a lot of people sick. I think that anything with a ton of salt may end up making you sick.

You really should talk to a doctor about it, they will probably just tell you to stay away from certain foods.

Peoples stomachs like certain types of foods. There are several cases where people can't eat ANYTHING, they have to be tube fed, because their stomach gets so upset over ANY type of food.

I try to stay away from dairy myself, and greasy foods (like Chinese, thats the worst). Also, chocolate in general makes me feel pretty sick, but I stay away from that stuff now.

Although I only ever remember feeling sick when eating greasy foods or chocolate after I got sick... I got really sick one week and since then, I haven't eaten the same way, and my throat has felt messed up.

Anyway, your best bet is to just talk with a doctor, and maybe they will know exactly what will make things better. Good luck with your endeavor.
