A dermatologist explained to me that it increases your cell-mediated (T-cell) immunity so that your own body attacks the virus and gets rid of it. Most doctors have never heard of this treatment but it works a treat. I had almost given up hope. Go ask your doctor for a script.
I don't think a shot is necessary. You can get an OTC treatment to put on that will destroy the wart tissue if it is not too far along, or you may need to see a foot doctor if is too large or deep, who will put something stronger on it to kill it and then remove it. No shots needed.
