Alcohol.
Alcohol can lead to manic depression, anger, liver damage and death.
Weed will lead to slight memory loss, possible lung disease, and laughter.

My vote is 'excessive alcoholic' though I think my opinion may be biased by a childhood of watching my father ruin our family by being just that.

I think...stay away from both.
Both, though an alcoholic can at times be quite social and certainly never boring. Where as a Stoner...............what can anyone say, they just sit there and once in a while say something really dull. Now if your also stoned that's a different scene altogether.
It depends on a few variables, but under most circumstances the alcoholic will be worse.
I would say an excessive alcoholic, due to the fact that marijuana poses no inherent risks, other than the same risks associated with smoking cigarettes and maybe a chubby tummy from munchies. Chronic alcohol abuse can lead to cirrhosis of the liver, esophageal varices, pancreatitis, various forms of cancer, heart disease, neuropathy, sexual dysfunction and alcoholic dementia.
An excessive alcoholic is much worse then a chronic stoner. Alcoholics damage their livers, kidneys, brain and their over all body. Chronic stoner effects are damage to the lungs and weight gain from the munchies.
I spose that depends on whether you prefer to protect your liver or your brain?
Both are equally as devastating?
Actually, both will torch your brain cells and destroy liver function so that negates my theory !!?
