So if I'm not anemic...?!

Question: Why do I have all the symptoms of BEING anemic? I've had 3 blood tests and they all came back showing no signs of anemia. WTF?? I've been to the doctors 3 times this year (seems like a little, but feels like I'm always there!) and he can't figure it out! UGH! I don't have the money to keep going back. What the H-E double hockey sticks am I supposed to do?!?!?!!?!

I'm going to see a cardiologist next month. Could my heart be giving me the same symptoms as anemia? I think I'd rather be anemic then have a heart problem!

Anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?

Thanks in advance!!

find another dr it took me 12 drs before i found out i was anemic and when i found out i was at an er for another health concern. Sometimes it takes alota blood test before they diagonse you with anemia or any other condition find another dr tell him your syptoms and let him test away and eventually you will get your answers.

Why don't you check Dr Mercola's site?
Maybe you can get some good insights there.

Hope it all gets well for you soon!

Idk, but I am going through the same problem right now. It has been suggested to me that it might be thyroid-but nothing ever comes back in my blood work confirming that either.
However recently I read that a vitamin B12 deficiency can mimic the symptoms of anemia, so I started upping my B12 to see if it makes a difference. It's been less than a week but no changes yet.
Hope you figure it out soon.
Good Luck~

what specific symptom are you experiencing? anemia could present with many symptoms, depending on the gravity and cause....its also a symptom....if the physical sign is pallor or paleness...the blood test would reveal it...if it turns out normal...maybe your not anemic
