Drink water, clear juices and nothing else (you could also drink coffee or tea if that's what you do normally). Drink a ton. A gallon.
Eat normally.

welcome to my party! yeah im sick too, but vitamin c only prevents common cold, not fight it. sorry man

Unfortunately you're stuck with a virus once you have it. It must run it's course. This being said, not resting, and a stressful lifestyle can prolong a cold or illness. I recommend drinking a lot of water, and very high dose vitamin C. Linus Pauling's studies with animals (almost all animals besides humans and our close relatives make their own vitamin C and don't need it from diet) suggested that humans should consume about 50mg/kg of body mass, or about 22.7mg/pound weight. Since I'm 215 lbs, that adds up to 4874 mg vitamin C a day, when I'm healthy.

Studies with animals that make their own vitamin C, and in humans experimenting with megadoses of C, have suggested that we need even more than that when we're sick, injured, or under stress. Linus Pauling suggested that, when sick or injured, we should consume as much vitamin C as our intestinal tolerance level - the point at which it starts giving you diarrhea, basically (but reduce if it gives you those problems!). Since it's non-toxic to humans at 100s of grams a day, there's no danger in this. For instance, after I fell and suffered several bruises and a concussion, I took 1000 mg every hour, and then every 30 minutes I was awake. I recovered at least twice as quickly as most estimates would suggest. The same is true for when you're sick.
