How will childrens vitamins effect me?!
Question: My mom always tells me to take a vitamin in the morning but the only ones I will ever truly love are Flinestones Vitamins! I'm 18 so its a pretty sad situation .. but anyway would these vitamins actually be beneficial to me or should I really buy an adult vitamin? Also it says it contains Choline on the Flinstones bottle - what exactly is that?

The only difference between multi-vitamins are which nutrients are targeted for what stage in development. Adult vitamins have other ingredients to prevent the breakdown of certain tissues or body parts, for example, a woman's adult vitamin may have extra calcium to prevent osteoporosis. Taking a flintstones vitamin won't hurt you, and you'll still get lots of benefits by taking in the "basic" vitamin components. Generally speaking a vitamin targeted towards your age-group is probably better suited for your health. At 18, flint-stones are probably still the best.
Children have different dietary requirements than adults, so the Flintstones Vitamins are tailored for kids. You might need to take two of them to get the full amount of vitamins you need, but they definitely wouldn't hurt. Also, make sure that you are eating a balanced diet with fresh fruits and vegetables: most of the vitamins you need are in them, along with antioxidants, which you can't get from a vitamin.
Choline is in the B-vitamin family, and it's important in early development (which is why the kid's vitamin bottle is advertising it).
