My stomach makes odd noises?!

Question: It seems like whenever it's quiet in my classroom and we're taking a test or whatever my stomach will make noise. Although it doesn't feel like its from my stomach, more of my intestines? I don't really know...Any ideas on how to help?

Abdominal sounds (bowel sounds) are made by the movement of the intestines as they push food through. Since the intestines are hollow, bowel sounds can echo throughout the abdomen much like the sounds heard from water-pipes. Among some causes for hyperactive bowel sounds are diarrhea, food allergy, colitis or infections. Eating too fast can also cause them, since you swallow a greatest amount of air.
Take your time when eating, refrain from eating dairy (at least for 3 days) and sugars and see if it improves. If it doesn't or you develop other symptoms, go get a stool test done.

eat oatmeal

......well, if you mean like your stomach is growling then your stomach isn't actually growling it is your intestines.......

As long as there's nothing else going on... you're not feeling bloated or nauseous or your stomach is not hurting you... it doesn't sound like anything is wrong. You just got a loud stomach! :-)

it could be just a simple reaction to eating something your body isn't necessarily liking. Try eating all natural or organic foods (at least no junk food!) have a nutritious breakfast, even though you might not be hungry!

Nerves? Or maybe your just hungry. (:
I think your stomach makes noises alot, you just don't hear it unless it's quiet!!

Although drinking bacteria yoghurt could help.
(Something a friend told me - seems to work!)

yeah you need a snack "biggie snacks" lol

you need to eat a heathly breakfast because the wait is so long before that crappy school lunch so you be hungry!

Buy/Make in the morning:
Cream of wheat
pop tarts
toasted bread with jelly
doughnuts/muffins
bagels w/creme cheese
waffles (toasted or microwaved)
Oatmeal (variety packs)
Cereal & milk
2 boiled eggs w/salt & peppa

Eat something, coat ya stomach with something!

Drink a bit of water (maybe 8-13 swallows) before class. This gives your stomach something to work on.

It is natural for your stomach and intestines to make noise. It means they are working properly.

That's because you're hungry,or didn't eat enough.

Mine was too - then later in life I found out I had sprue disease which made me very sick. Anything with wheat in it makes me sick if I eat very much of it.
