Aging is depressing me. Help me deal with this!?!

Question: Okay so I'm only 26, but still. The problem is, I know that aging is inevitable, and I know that we have to deal with it, but let's first get to the biggest thing that scares me. It's not the actual outside part, it's being more prone to disease, cancer, heart attack, aches and pains,.....

it all scares me to death!

When I was young I used to just get up, feel good, and nothing really got to me at all.

Now, I already had to deal with depression/anxiety, and even asthma. It's also taking me longer to heal, and I no longer feel fresh, vibrant and ready for the world. Hell, even other people notice it, some laugh because I just look all jaded, worn out, even though I'm really not internally, but I "look" it.

And I'm only 26! But I feel and look 36, literally. I don't look young. And every year, seems to bring changes. 19-22 basically turned me from kid to man. and 23-26 turned me from young man to "over the hill" for anything young oriented like American Idol. lol

you may find comfort by conversing with a counselor, psychologist, clergyman, etc. your fears are blown out of proportion, which is a sign of the depression/anxiety of which you speak. perahps you need to take anti-depressants and/or anti-anxiety medication. get more exercise, that will help with the depression and keeping/getting slim, which is the #1 way to maintain your health. eat a healthy diet, get exercise, get enough sleep. go to a funny movie! stay around positive people. get a physical to see if there are any health problems facing you. get a stylish haircut and some new stylish clothing, which will perk you up in appearance and mentally. evaluate your job...if it's bringing you down, look for something else. pray for inner peace. be a volunteer and help someone less fortunate than yourself, this is a great way to maintain some perspective on the perceived negatives in your life. listen to some upbeat music. walk a dog from the pound. get outside yourself and stop being so negative in your thoughts and attitudes.

I'm only 23, but sometimes I feel like an old hag. I can't stay up past 11:30 without being completey beat. One way I stay vibrant and young is by taking vitamins, exercising regularly, and eating well. Eating has a HUGE HUGE HUGE deal on how people feel. Try altering your diet some (cut out fast foods, soda and processed sugars) And put in some fresh spinich and apples.

I hope you feel better.

please 26 brain just fully develop

im 30 reckless and don`t care there is nothing you can do to change it apart from stay active eat properly but more importatnatly get out more so that your not stuck in doors thinking these thoughts man...your sincerly old timer
