I am on Nuvaring as well and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've heard of other women saying it was horrible and they had to get off it. How long have you been on it? It's possible it's just not right for you. I used to take Vitamin B Complex for my moodiness...but it's up to you if you want to go the herbal route. Also, I've heard exercise can rid you completely of mood swings. Exercise releases endorphins into your brain which make you happy. I need to practice what I preach. ;) If you haven't been on it for very long...it's possible that it's a temporary side effect that will work itself out in the next couple of months. But what you should really do is ask your doctor. That's the reason they get paid the big bucks, ya know! I hope this helps and don't feel like you're the only one in the world who has mood swings. You and I are one of millions. Good luck!

girl theys nothing you can do and you should look up nuva ring i,m not sure if i heard something about a birth control on the news but i know for sure they is a law suit out for a birth control and if you can,t control it go back to you,r dr i stop using birh control because i got my tups cut, burned so i don,t have worry about that

No. Unfortunately the medical community does agree (though not often publicly) that we still don't know enough about the brain to accurately tell what taking artificial hormones really does to the body (and what the long term effects might be). If you really need birth control and don't want kids, ask your man to get a vasectomy. Its minimally invasive and the recovery time is very short especially when compared with female sterilization. I had a terrible time with mood swings & I tried almost every kind of birth control on the market. My boyfriend and I agreed that it made the most sense to just bite the bullet and get the procedure done, so he did. We are happier now than ever, NO mood swings. Men tend to tell each other that it's like being castrated (which is the removal of the testicles, a completely different thing which alters the body's chemistry) and that their penis will stop working properly. That is just not the case. I can attest, my sex life has never been more fulfilling.
