im afraid since im not eating much, dry heaving is going to burn up calories i dont have, causing me to loose energy

Any activity burns calories. But that's not important in the whole scheme of things, because your body has stored some fat, and it will use that fat while you're not taking in calories.
Take Dramamine--yes, the anti-carsick med. It's great for nausea and it will help you rest. It's also available in chewable.
Make sure you're getting fluids, if only water or Gatorade. If you can, some apple juice would be good, or chicken broth (the salt will help your body keep hydrated).

try to keep down liquids... get something in your stomach because if you are dry heaving you can start throwing up bile and thats never good.
