After a workout (especially if you are not in shape), your muscles tear, rebuild, and get bigger. The worst pain usually comes 2 days after. You may want to lighten the workout until the pain is more consistant, but if you stop, it will never get easier. Just make sure not to overexhert yourself.

yr muscles cells multipled stupid a$$

While I'd consider myself to be in shape, I am by no means a fitness god. I do however, work out a few times a week, and almost always feel like I'm about to puke after I get home. I do push myself pretty hard, and if you aren't in the greatest shape, especially when you first begin a work out routine, your body is gonna have to get used to the new stress you're putting on it.

Odds are, it'll go away after awhile. But don't quit working out. Just take it easier, but start getting your body used to the activity level. My stomach muscles hurt for about a week after doing a really hard set of sit ups... where I held a weight near my head. Is it the muscles (abs) or your stomach?

Be sure to distinguish between "normal" pain, and bad pain (like a hernia, eek). I wouldn't worry about it, unless it gets worse or doesn't go away or lessen in the next week. But, I'm not a doctor...
