Answers: I was talking to this girl at my bank today and she told me that she was a cna at a hospital and its bugging me that i dont know what it is.

A Cna is a certified nurses assistant. They change bed pans, diapers, feed the residents, bathe them, take temperature, get them up and into bed, change catheter bags, give them nail and foot care. Basically do everything old people or helpless people cant do for themselves. You have to licensed to do this and usually take a class or school to get it. They work in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers.

certified nursing assistant...she help take care of patient's for the nurses...she basicly helps with baths, feedings and needs of patients...oh yeah and checks the vital signs (which is blood pressure, heart beat and temperature)

CNA is certified nursing aid. like u work in the nursing hot to take care of the residents there like get them up, give them bath, clean them up, change diapers etc

A CNA is a Certified Nursing Assistant. They help RN's and LPN's...like kinda doing all the grunt work.

It's a Certified Nursing Assistant. It means they are a nurses' aide and have had training in providing patient care. CNA do a lot of the primary care, but do not dispense medications, give injections or start IV's. They do take blood pressures, check blood sugars, take medical histories, and generally help patients with bed pans, dressing, feeding, bed baths, etc. They are really angels.
