You may just not move enough.

Take quick breaks to walk around the office.

Lower your caffeine intake.

And stick to a firm sleep schedule.

Hope this helps.

Either you are sleep deprived or just bored.

The next time you notice that you are yawning a lot, try taking a few good deep breaths. Inhale slowly through your nose and concentrate on feeling the bottom of your lungs inflate then slowly let the breath out. Why does this work? Sometimes when you yawn and yawn despite a restful night, it is a response to shallow breathing and not getting enough oxygen in the moment.

I yawn constantly during the day, but also have other problems that go along with it (insomnia, need sleeping pills to sleep, never feel rested, never seem to get enough sleep). I told my doctor about this and she sent me to a sleep disorder doctor. He said it sounds as if I have a type of sleep apnea that deprives me of oxygen (found out there are over 80 types of sleep problems and more than one type of sleep apnea--not all of them include you stopping breathing at night). He had me go to a sleep study this week (find out tomorrow what the results were). IF you have other symptoms along with your yawning, please check with your doctor.

If you do not have any sleep problems, feel rested the rest of the day, etc, then it may just be you are either not moving around enough during the day or not getting quite enough oxygen at that time. In that case, follow the suggestions that others have suggested here (walk around more, take long deep breaths, etc). Then if nothing helps, you might want to speak to your doctor about it just in case there is an underlying problem.
