i wouldnt do anything except maybe keep a safe distance away (my nose doesn't want to go through that!)
What would I do??? I would keep my distance I guess. If I were close enough to them I would tell them that here we take showers daily if possible, or at least every other day.

Sounds like this is someone close to you or someone you care about. Otherwise, you could just stay away.
I would just confront them about it in a caring way and tell them your concerns.
You can also explain to them that this is a dangerous and unhealthy lifestyle.
I guess staying away is not an option. Is this at work? If so talk to a boss about it. Have you said something to the person? Just be nice about it at first. Something like "Hi guy, have you ever saw the movie big daddy with adam sandler where he ask the kid about being the smelly kid in class? I think you need to listen to what adam said to the boy." Just be a little witty. Although there is a man at work that has extremely bad breath and he does not get the hint when told out right nicely or mean.
I would donate some soap, and some water to help a brother out.
