Remedies for sore throat?!

Question: I feel like I'm catching a cold because I'm getting this slight sore throat. The problem is that I have a huge event going on tommorow and I don't want to worry about being sick. Do you know any great medicine for preventing colds when getting the symptoms or for removing the sore throat?

trust me it always works for me. if you can get a lemsip in side of you before the cold actually comes then you will be fine before you know it.... if you dont know what a lemsip is then get half a lemon squeeze into a cup with teaspoon of honey and add hot water this will sriously cure your sore throat trust me!!! good luck!!!

mix some honey and lemon juice together and warmit in the microwave for about 3o sec. , then sip on it slowly .It really works !

for a sore throat It tastes horrible but gargle with diluted TCP. its an antiseptic and works, it does what it says on the tin. Prevention of colds try more vit C, but i think if i really knew a prevention i would be very rich. Oh and TCP smells, consider this before going out.
