That pitch in the back of your head (tinnitus?)?!


Question: Im 18. I believe everyone has that pitch in the back of there head. Mine is always there. Like it's not loud or annoying, but if I "look" for it I always find it. Its usually really faint but if I concentrate on it, and try to amplify it, it gets louder. I can get it so loud it can overpower a conversation near me. I don't know if this is normal or if its bad. Im not to worried, I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this.

I think it's just a reaction from hearing noises throughout the day and once it's finally silent we hear that ringing in the ears. You do NOT have tinnitus, unless you have had an injury and you have damaged your ear and now have a constant ringing.
