The "Super-drunk me" challenge: please read!?!

Question: Ever seen that movie, "Super-size me", where some guy decided to eat nothing but McDonalds for 31 days to observe the health effects? Well, I have a similar idea... only instead of McDonalds, every time I get hungry or thirsty, I'll take a shot of whisky for 31 days. Because of the obvious health implications, I will also have a 16 oz. glass of water, a rice cake, and some vitamins every morning while doing this.
So, how long do you think that the human body can operate off of just the bare-basic essentials needed for sustaining itself, and loads and loads of whiskey? Anyone care to take bets on whether or not I can pull it off?
...and by the way, I'll win $1000 if I can do it. Yes, it *is* a bet, but all I stand to lose on it is twenty bucks. So what do you think?

Go for it!!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Seriously, though, this is not super anything. A shot of whiskey is almost no alcohol. Unless you plan on really trying to take a shot every time you get hungry or thirsty. Then you will spend a lot of time vomiting, I would imagine.

You will fail. But mankind might benefit in the long run. Drink up!!!

i mean one shot of whiskey...cant do much. it just seems like your depriving yourself from food....

i would make it more interesting 3 beers, 3 shots of whiskey a day... ha that'd be cooler.

1 1/2 weeks maybe, that would put a massive amount of stress on your body. Alcohol in essence is poison, the stress load you would put on your body would be tremendous and you would probably die within 2 weeks.

you can put that 1000 bucks to help pay for your medical bills because at the end of the month your body will be dependent and you will have to go to the hospital to detox........good call taking vitamins tho........i don.t think u realize the severity of this bet...it is not worth it.....you will have a increased chance of having pancreatitis which is a condition where ur pancreas swells and you can.t eat anything for quite a while and they give you nutrition through an iv in a major blood vessel......other risks-fatty liver, swollen veins in your esphagus, bleeding of the intestines

Thats very instresting and yet insanely stupid

"all i have to loose on it is twenty bucks"

i think not! there could be serous damage in the long run
i.e. kidney damage, body's addiction/dependence on the alcohol etc. not smart

if you're dumb enough to do it $1,000 is not nearly enough to pay for your life.

If you only eat a rice cake, then you will be hungry all the time. Plus, you'll feel the effects of alcohol a LOT quicker. The rules need to be modified because you will seriously end up hurting yourself. Think long term, this is not worth $1,000 dollars. Besides, that guy from "Super-Size me" lost most of his side effects from exercising, how in the world are you going to recover from your kidney and liver problems?

nice knowing ya. get your affairs in order

be smart- dont do it
