Swollen gland on side of neck for 3 years???!
Question: I have had a swollen gland on the side of my neck for 3 years. I have had dr.'s look at it and tell me that if it's not as hard as a rock it's o.k. What do you think and should I see a specialist or be concerned?

Ok some simple questions... first, how much do you weigh? is this weight the correct weight for your size and are you happy with it?? the reason I ask this is because if you have a malfunction in your Thyroid gland in your neck,,, then youll be over weight ..and yes some people that have this happen are sometimes with a sore full neck that not many doctors seem to want to correct ..if you have Not for sure had a Full Thyroid testing done, then get it done, and if your not sure that the doctor or doctors youve already seen ,are good ,then find a specialist please its worth it 100% .... stop playing with it. im stressed about mine aswell, i told my dr last time, he said it wasnt big,,, but i reckon its bigger lately, its as big as a grape, but flatter,,, though ive got conjunctivitis at the moment,,, could b swelled cos of that
but i notice its always one side that swells,,, its so stressful
i keep thinking im bloody dying,, im such a hypochondriac,
im sure we r ok, there r lots of questions about this, xxxxxxxxxxx i will see my dr again though,xxxx
