Is there anything wrong? Or is it just me..?!

Question: I find it really hard to concentrate on things I have to do, like homework, lessons etc.
I have really bad mood swings and I have real trouble stopping myself from acting out impulsively.

This stuff gets me into lots of trouble...help?

Your age, sex, interest level, all have something to do with your behaviour.

If you are a teen - mood swings and impulsive behaviour are par for the course. If you are 40 then not so much!!

Procrastination is also a big thing for anyone studying. It isn't always interesting and stimulating so your mind wanders off.

It takes discipline to master all of the things you are describing! When you notice that you are acting in a way you don't like (impulsive or not concentrating) you have to choose to get back on track right away. Ok, well, mood swings can be hormonal and hard to control, but you can still choose to appologise if you ripped off someone's head, or pull yourself together and move forward when you feel like s***.

If isn't just you. Most people feel this way - no matter how old they are. You just have to learn not to make it who you are and become defined by these negative actions. Remind yourself to try to behave like the kind of person you want to be and before you know it, it will come naturally and you will be that person.

Hope this helps.

maybe you have ADD/ADHD or manic depression-you need to go to the doctor to help yourself

you need maditation early in the morning everyday for 30min.

You probably have so much on your mind it makes it hard to focus. Meditate 15 minutes- 1hour, each and every day. Make time everyday to spend some time by yourself alone without any distractions. Don't necessarily go to medication/pills because that has side affects and could make you feel worst. Try simple natural things to get your mind to focus.

Increase your calcium intake. Mood swings, irritability and inability to think clearly, tummy aches and digestive troubles and headaches and migraines are all symptoms of calcium deficiency.

Get more safe exposure to the sun (vitamin D is known as the sunshine vitamin) as calcium needs vitamin D for effective absorption. If you choose to supplement with calcium ensure that it contains vitamin D3.

Take a good multi B complex supplement also as these vitamins are essential for healthy neural, digestive and immune system functioning.

Foods rich in calcium are ~ milk and dairy (low fat if you can tolerate dairy and aren't vegetarian), tofu, sardines, salmon, peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seed, dried beans, kale, broccoli, collard greens and leafy and green vegies.

Drink loads of fresh filtered water too as the happiest and healthiest body will always be the most hydrated one.

You are probably just going through another growth buddy and need the extra calcium?
