If you are ill then you need to lay off or cut down on the physical exertion until you are better. If you eat plenty of fruit and veg and red meats then the only other thing that it can be is that you are not giving your body to heal.

you could have a weak immune system from not eating enough red meat and vegetables

you could have been exposed to some really bad germs

or you could have poor hygiene like not washing your hands before you eat and hanging around sick contagious people

May be you're not eating enough vegetable and fruits or any vitamin rich food!

You should try to eat more things containing vitamin c. There's even Vitamin C you can add to your water. Also start taking a multi-vitamin.

There are certain virsus that can live in the house for months on end. ROtavirus is one of those. Be sure you disinfect constintly and wash your hands often. YOu pretty much need to follow you hands around w a bottle of lysol, everything you touch gets sprayed, at least until you feel better. I bet that will help. And ps, it is a myth that you become to a certain type of virus if youve already had it that yr, so rotavirus def a very goo possibility.

A LOT of people have been getting sick lately, it's that time of year. I was sick for a week about 1-2 weeks ago, then was sick again yesterday. My parents are both sick, most of my friends are sick, etc.

Or, you could have a weak immune system; I know I don't have one as strong as it could be. Try eating healthier and exercising more, it helps strengthen your immune system.

we are bombarded by millions of bacteria and viruses everyday. we get sick when we get a little worn down and/or just get exposed to a strong 'bug'.
winter weather, stress, bad habits etc. etc. sometimes makes it hard for the body to replenish itself before you get exposed to a new cold or virus.

eating right, drinking tons of water and vitamins IS A NO BRAINER, but what you might not know is the strong need of anti-oxidants and flavinoids to 'tear down' the inflamed tissue in the body to 'rebuild' and to create a hostile environment for the germies!
evryone knows about vitamin C but even better is the combination of selenium and vitamin E; together they are the most powerful antioxidant. even a fresh brewed cup of strong coffee is incredibly full of antioxidants as well as juice and fruit with strong color or high in citric acid.
i highly recommend using a product like airborne(i like alka seltzer immunity booster because its really high in selenium and other vitamins) and the best product i've every used is something called sinu-cleanse(walgreens, cvs). its a teapot that you fill with a salt mixture and water then poor in one nostril and out the other as you bend down and breathe through your mouth. it feels soooo good and you wont believe the crap that comes out! colds and virus live in the nose and using this 'neti' pot or a zinc mixture like zicam has been proven to reduce the length and severity of your suffering.
