I have random hand spasms?!
Question: when im doing anything my right hand randomly jerks
the other day when i was holding a glass my hand randomly jerked and i dropped it
the jerking started a year ago

it could just be a tick.
make sure to note what was going on when it happened to see what the "trigger" is.
this way you can be conscious in some level when it is about to happen, and work your way to controlling it better.
kinda like holding a sneeze ^_^
A answer has allot to do with how old you are, if your in your 40's or so it could be Parkinson's, if your young it could be allot of non life threatening problems,
Do you use/overuse that hand a lot, like at work? How long does this last? How often does it happen?
I'm thinking you need to see a doctor to get it checked out. It could be a symptom of repetitive stress syndrome. There are several ways to treat that and things you can do to lessen the chance of it happening again.
