As people age, does their body start decomposing and hence the smell?!
Question: No, Some people as they age all of the sudden have an aversion to soap and water. I worked in geriatric health care for 13 years and trying to get some of those people to take a shower and put some deodorant on was a big battle! Plus if they have incontinence issues it makes it much worse!

something about their spine crushing or something
a body starts decomposing once its DEAD. the smell u may be referring to is probably because older people may be incontinent.. that means they may not be able to stop themselves from releasing a little bit of pee into their pants. or they may have difficulty in keeping a good hygiene.maybe when u are old u will not have some1 to help u look after urself. how will YOU feel if kids laugh at u on a bus? be a little more understanding. we will all get old...if we are lucky.
If older people dont wash daily or cant make it to the toilet thats why they smell. Decomposing starts after death
