Anyone else think sex is overrated?!
Question: I've done it a couple times in the past few days. I mean, I've done it before... but I just can't see what's so amazing about it. I am a guy and believe sex to be a bit... boring. Maybe I'm just an odd breed. So I guess I'm just looking to see if there's another who believes the same thing. Anyone else think that's it's just so overly hyped?

I think sex in our society has become boring and overatted. We have it too often, and it doesnt mean anything. I think we should have it less often, and with fewer people - then it would be special.
Right now we use it to try to fill some void we all have, but thats another rant.

In many parts of the world it's not as important to people. Shelter and food is more important to them.
yeah, there's so many things making it over rated. you have to worry about how your performing and what the other person is doing. If you do it with some one you don't care about it is boring. I only like sex when I'm infatuated, other than that it is boring.
You just obviously havent been with the right girl! Get with someone expierenced and you will enjoy it a lot more! Be more creative, sex is a lot more than just the act of intercourse! Have Fun.
Maybe you are just not having very good sex lol. It usually helps if you love the person you are doing it with.

I do think it's overrated, yes. And I've had lots of really good sex.
It's nice once every couple of weeks or so, but those people who are all "you must have sex every day or your relationship is failing!!" can bite me in a non-sexual way.
i think sex is over used more then overrated.sex is great with the right person at the right time. if you have "a friend with benefits" then that is not the right person and sure not the right time. any thing that is over used will always become overrated to the user.
Haven't done it yet , but I'm not going to rush out to do it , I think it depends what kind of stuff you do , weather you are just into vanilla stuff, or into BDSM , and who you do it with ( I'm just guessing here)
sex is only a very small part of life anyway there are other ways of having fun (if there weren't then people would never leave their rooms lol)
