Its not fully understood why animal need born and it hasnt been found to have any particular medicinal benefits and there is no boron deficiency illness in people however it is an essential nutrient in plants. The plants need it and we need the plants so we need boron.

I know that it is naturally in a lot of water. My daughter has so much boron in her well water, that she doesn't drink it. I also know that it is a mineral use in some cleaning products. Have your ever heard of Borax?
