Why does my heart race when I smoke pot? It feels like it is beating 5 times as !
Question: I smoked weed for the first time last night. When I stood up, I almost passed out because my heart was racing. I want to know what causes this. I know I'm not going to do this again, but I still would like to know what it is, and if it's happened to others.

It speeds your heart rate up hun, you're not used to it. I was short of breath the first time I smoked it, and you're not supposed to stand up at least 10 min after you've smoked it.
