Vitamins in moderation are safe. Some are a little more dangerous than others, but as long as a person isn't taking huge amounts at a time they should be alright.

Too much of one vitamin can also throw others out of balance.

I believe that vitamins are good to take, especially a one-a-day vitamin AND mineral supplement, and maybe some extra C & E and other anti-oxidants.

I don't know how much memory benefit a person would get from taking a certain vitamin, but I do know that if you are deficient in certain vitamins it will definitely effect memory in a negative way.

Keeping the brain active and using memory techniques like association with other key words would probably be more effective.

Vitamins have their place, but don't expect miracles from them.

A student should learn to write in English. I see 5 errors.

I suspect you heard of some vitamin or mineral supplement targeted at older people, who seem to be more susceptible to short-term memory loss. You don't need it......just stay focused - and if you have a lot to "memorize" - do it in small bits, 10 minutes at a time, just 3-4 items/concepts at a time. Then review those before you bite off the next chunk. It works!

Gingko biloba; (I get headaches from it, but I know lots of people who use it without any ill effects...I have lots of allergies)'
Vinpocetine;
Vitamin E 400IUs 2X/day;
L-theanine (is also calming).

Okay for students to take...won't make you high or anything.
Good luck
