Is a yogurt and tuna diet healthy?!

Question: Depends on what you want to accomplish. Not knowing how much sugar is in the yogurt, I would say that you are going to lose body fat and have level blood sugar for the most part (energy)

Ideally, or for a long term diet, you would include something like broccoli and a complex carb that is fibrous. Broccoli has a huge array of vitamins and minerals, beans/legumes are ruffage and necessary.

good luck.

I d k.

BUT.
It sounds disgusting :/

no you need more balance

Dairy + mercury...surely you jest?!?!?

mmm...mmmm...
good luck.
i will now go enjoy my big mac

Seems like it, since fish is good for you and yogurt is good for you.

you need a diet that encompasses all parts of the food pyramid...thats why we say everything in moderation.

Tuna isn't good., because of the currently high mercury content.

yogurt is alright but tuna is actually high in fats and doesn't have much protien. so no.

it's not balanced you need some vegetables

Tuna would be really good. But, the water is so polluted from humans so tuna has extreme levels of mercury in it, which is poisonous. If you have too much mercury you die.

gross. why would you eat that crap?

you need alot more nutrition then they offer

No. Not alone. Fine if part of a nutritional mixed diet. Throw in some vegetables and fruit.

im pretty sure DIETS are all around not healthy... you have to modify the way you live, not just eat yogurt and tuna for a month until you get sick of it.

Actually, I recently read an article about a woman who consumed tuna almost everyday because it was inexpensive and it turned out affecting her pregnancy. Tuna has a lot of mercury in it and overall, it's not healthy at all if you consume it everyday. You should definitely consult a doctor when changing your diet. Good luck and know what's safe for you to consume. Yogurt sounds fine but don't go on an extreme diet. :)

ya for you it is just not for the Tuna!

Tuna is not the best fish to eat because of the high Mercury levels. All fish have Mercury but some higher than others. Yogurt can be healthy if you get all natural . If you dont get natural yogurt check the ingredients for "Fructose corn syrup" and "High fructose corn syrup". If those ingredients are in there, I would just spend the extra money to be more healthy.
Personally I dont think it is the healthiest diet. Eat plenty of fruits, veggies and whole grains. If you must eat meat, eat low mercury fish :)

No
yogurt has a lot of sugar in it
and tuna has a lot of mercury in it. havent you heard the latest news about tuna? you shouldnt eat a lot of it.

Not really. You need to add fruits and vegetable as well as some whole grains.
