Expired medication...?!
Question: i have some left over lexapro from a while back and it says it's 6 months expired on the prescription bottle. i was wondering if anybody knows if it would be deadly to take or just less potent? im planning on going to the doctor soon.

They are probably ok, but just to be safe I would'nt get in the habit of using expired drugs. Also when you dispose of them, don't flush them down the toilet or sink. Grind them into a powder and mix them with used cat litter or dirt or something as nasty and put the mixture into the garbage. That keeps them out of our water supply and from ending up being eaten by fish and again by us. Get well soon!
