I had an insurance medical almost 20 years ago and the doctor asked me about a swollen lymph node that I didn't even know was swollen. I had a biopsy and it turned out I had Hodgkin's disease .. I don't want to sound alarmist but it does just show that this does need checking out!

You had an ear infection a while back, and the lymph node is still swollen. These can take 1 to 3 years to resolve. If it gets bigger, thats a problem. If it is very tender and boggy, and just behind andon the bony bump, it could be mastoiditis, and you need to see a doctor.

You need to go see a doctor. Swollen lymph nodes might mean nothing, it might mean something a lot more serious too. If it was going to go down of it's own accord it would have by now.

Anything that is unusual and stays for longer than you'd expect needs checking out. Chances are it is nothing to worry about, but you can't know that for certain and you can't take the risk of ignoring something that could be serious.

You could have a infection near that part of your body. Lymphonods are filters and caught infection. If it has been 2 months then you need to see a doctor. There is alot of things that can cause this to happen, get it check, asap.

Is it actually swollen or is it just that you noticed it was there and now keep checking it? You could be just fighting an infection without feeling any symptoms?
If in doubt get it checked out - if it's nothing you can stop panicking! I'm guessing you are just getting paranoid about it(not in a bad way of course!)

I get them all the time in winter, its just because your more prone to cold and infection.

please dont leave any lumps to go by themselves. they are your immune systems way of saying hey get me checked out. sounds like simple infection but it dont take long to ask a doctor.
