You can have some of the side effects listed on the back. Your heart will either beat at a faster pace or heart attack/stroke. Your body can go into shock due to high levels of chemicals. Your blood can become very thin (hint Heart attack) There are so many ways to go wrong with that... So, please DONT take more than the recommended amount
My doctor told me I could take 4 at a time safely, but I think she was talking about a one-time deal for a bad headache, not as a long term dosage or even daily. If your pain is so bad that you are needing higher doses of advil to battle it, I say it is time to see your doctor for a better/safer alternative, and at the very least for better advice than you can get here.
