I had this condition or something like it. I would actually fall down sometimes. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with orthostatic hypo tension. This basically means that your blood pressure is LOW and that when you sit down the blood goes to your lower extremities but does not recirculate when you stand up. A lot of older people have this and one thing they do is put kinda like bands around the leg to keep the blood from totally going to the legs. Look up this condition and you will your symptoms and advice from a medical doctor. You might go to a drug store and pay the .50 cents to test your BP. If it is low......there you go!!! good luck......oh and you dont have to be old ...I was 24 and in great shape when I was diagnosed.

Really, I have no clue because it happens to me sometimes too. I think its because when you are lying down all of the blood rushes to your head, but when you quickly stand up, the blood flows down causing you to feel dizy.

It sounds like orthostatic hypotension. This means your B.P drops when you stand so continue to rise slowly.

Depending on the severity, it could be a serious medical problem. Talk to your doctor.

Probably low blood pressure or a blockage in the inner ear. Have you had an ear infection? Are you pregnant? Are you on drugs? Do you smoke? Do you drink too much? Could be any one of these so the best bet is to go and see your doctor as we are all clutching at straws and making you feel worse.
