Over the counter Narcotic....?!

Question: I've been on Percacet for a little over a year, I have a drug test coming up for a new job so I need to know how long it will take to rid my system of the medication. A lot people have given me different periods of time, so if anyone knows for sure it would greatly help me!

Fully disclose before your drug test that your are taking Percocet for ______ and that you have a prescription. You might want to have your Dr. write a note for you (just like your parents used to do) that you are under his/her care for ______ and are taking a prescription narcotic. But do this BEFORE your test that way they will know you are not trying to hide anything.

It is not supposed to be available without a prescription, so if you have one, there should not be a problem.

1) There's no such thing as Over-the-counter narcotics in the United States. OTC means you don't need a prescription. Here, narcotics are controlled drugs, meaning you do need a prescription.
You should ask your doctor or pharmacist how long it takes for percocet to leave your system.
Also, having percocet in your system should be okay for most jobs that don't require running heavy machinery.
