Why do I get headaches everyday?!

Question: I get headaches everyday - use to have the same thing about a year ago but started to drink loads of water which seemed to help. The head aches have now come back again despite still drinking plenty of water.

I eat quite healthily and tried quiting foods such as cheese, juice, chocolate, beer, tomoatoes (as suggested by a number of people) each for a week at a time.

They normally develop throughout the day and get worse towards the evening. Anyone else have this problem and what do you suggest?

ok. I hope I can help. I have the same problem. Ive been to the doctor and have had an MRI. they found nothing. Try having ur eyes checked. Also do u drink caffiene? too much will do it but also if u quit cold turkey u will have withdrawl headaches. I usually try one to two caffienated drinks a day. They dilate your vessels and it helps me get rid of the pain. Do u exercise regularly? that has also helped me a lot. sorry, but Ive been like this for about 8 years and since I made some fo these changes it has helped I dont have them everday but close it and they still cant find anything.

See your doctor. You may have an underlying problem like an ear infection.

immediate medical attention. a well-trained doctor is more helpful than anyone here

have you had your eyes tested as i get headachs if i dont wear my glasses like today. try that as it may only be you need glasses.
good luck

Perhaps you should get your eyes tested, it could be eye strain causing the headaches.

They could be from stress, high blood pressure, any number of things. Contact your doctor and schedule a check up.

Could be a number of things from stress to food allergies. May even be your eyes. See a doctor.

i used to have a similar problem.
they found out i had a form of epilepsy - the headaches were the only symptom i have. the med they gave me worked great.

You might be having cluster headaches, which come in groups.

You might be having headaches related to allergies or sinuses.

Really, since you are having a headache every day, you need to talk to a doc, preferably a headache specialist.

until you can see a doc, try to reduce stress (meditation or yoga will probably be the best bets) and start keeping a headache dairy.

See your doctor. and get an eye test too.Especially if your work is on a computer all day or working in poor light

Have your eyes checked out- you may need glasses or a new prescription. headaches can be bought on by the eyes straining over a long period of time which ties in with you getting them in the evening.
Are you on a computer all day?
if so give your eyes a break form the flickering screen and go for a walk for some fresh air.
You are legally entitled to 5 minutes away from the computer each hour. Use it!
hope this helps.

Hi
one cause could be the bed you're sleeping in, or the pillow.
Do you wear glasses or spend many hours in front of the computer? Do you often write or work bending your neck forward?
This way you put under a lot of work and pressure your neck muscles - I don't know their english names - and they become tense and give you headache.
If you go to the doctor ask for a general blod test, I was low in Iron, and that caused me awful headaches.
Take care, and try not to take chemicals remedies

See your doctor, this is a symptom of high blood pressure amongst other disorders that only they are qualified to diagnose. A visit to the optician wouldn't go amiss either...

I get headaches everyday too. Well, almost everyday. I think mine are mainly due to a number of factors such as hormonal changes, from over-napping, and mild dehydration(because i don't drink much water).

You may just be a migraine sufferer or have a hormonal problem too. You should consider getting a CT scan just to make sure these headaches you are getting aren't caused by anything serious.

tension try to make your life stress free

I have had headaches for over 20 years most of which last for over 6 hours or more,i dont drink,i avoid all the trigger foods, dont smoke and have been prescribed just about every painkiller on the market, all to no avail.
I was sent to a neurologist who could not find anything wrong so prescribed me more of the same tablets,i have since given up on doctors as they are a waste of time and are only happy when they are writing out prescriptions costing me fortunes.
As i am a born worrier i can only assume it is stress that brings on these headaches, something that i find hard to alleviate especially with 2 small children and a mortgage to pay.

I know i have not been very helpful but i fear it is something i have to put up with - I HOPE IT IS NOT THE SAME IN YOUR CASE.

i HOPE YOU FIND YOUR CURE AND IF YOU DO CAN YOU SHARE IT WITH ALL OF US..........

Hi i used to suffer this too and it was that i needed glasses for watching TV i don't have to wear them all the time but i still found a big difference since i got them
