Do you consider exercising twice a day to be obsessive?!

Question: That's hard to answer without considering several factors. If you exercise just because you enjoy it and for a reasonable amount of time each day, it's not obsessive and can be beneficial to your health. However, if you feel obligated to do it (like if you feel like you must lose weight or that your athletic ability just has to be improved) or are doing it for excessive amounts of time (like over 2 hours a day), it definitely could be obsessive. Here's another thing to consider: how do you feel (mentally, not physically) if you'e busy one day and don't get to exercise as much as usual? If it doesn't really bother you too much, that's not obsessive, but if you dwell on it for hours or days, I'd say it is.

Something becomes obsessive when it interferes with your normal functioning in the world. Does the exercising interfer with your daily like? If so, then it is obsessive.

Depends on how much you exercise each time. it fits in to some peoples schedule better this way.

Depends on the duration of each session.

it depends . . . If you are exercising just for the sake of losing weight, then yes, it is way over the top. However, if the excercising is just part of your life, like if you go for a power walk in the morning and a swim in the afternoon, then it isn't obsessive. also, if your activities( like a dance class or baseball) involve excercising, then they are just a part of your lifestyle. I have been known to work out more than once a day at times, sometimes I'll go to the gym in the morning and then take a few hours of dance classes in the afternoons. It all depends on who you are and what reasons you are excercising for!
