I get really sick in the middle of the night, what could be going on?!

Question: At about 12 am I wake up with extreme stomach pains, and lay there in agony, trying not to move until about 12:30, when I get up and vomit. It's happened two times, and today my mom is taking me to the doctor to see if anything's wrong or I have any allergies. Both days I ate a pretty healthy, and both days I had completly different things. Any time I eat I get slight stomach cramps, but they're barely noticable. What could be going on?

Although you've given some information it's hard to tell what's going on..Food poisoning usually doesn't happen quite that fast. the symptoms you describe points in that direction, but it's unlikely that's the problem..those symptoms usually take 12 to 24 hrs to occur. Even if you ate different things was there anything you ate or drank that WAS the same...if so you may have and intolerance to some item. It's not a food allergy, but more like digestive reaction. Slight cramping upon ingestion of anything may indicate a blockage in the intestine. It does occur in a lot of people and is often just temporary. Your really too young for that to happen suddenly..if that's the problem you would have had trouble with it some time ago. Try to recall if anything you had was the same..such as, milk, soda, tea, or any food item..typically we Drink the same thing at meals even though the food my not be the same..
I know this isn't much help, but it's all I have to go on..
Keep me posted on how your dr. visit turns out..Allergy testing is somewhat painful and take some time. I'd rather not go through that unless it's recommended by your Dr.
You might try eating something that's really easy to digest such as a light soup with some crackers or toast or some oatmeal with water to drink..
Stay with it Broken Doll...it will pass..
