Without your Gallbladder you aren't going to have that extra shot of bile each time you eat to help with fat and protein digestion. An easy way to help digest those things is to supplement with enzymes. Particularly Lipase and Protease. If you take the enzymes after you first or second bite of food it should really help with digestion. You can find digestive enzymes pretty much anywhere these days.

Hope that helps...good luck!

SInce the gallbladder produces bile which helps digestion, it is a good idea to know eat fatty foods. The excess fat can go through your body quickly and cause you to have loose stool. I had to have my stomach removed two years ago and it was very hard in the beginning. It is much better now and I am better at picking the right food.
