Started eating healthy and my stomach is in knots!!!?!

Question: I've recently begun to eat healthy, my diet wasn't awful but it contained a lot of caffine and junk food. I've now cut those out and have begun on a life changing new food plan and it's really making a difference. The problem is my stomach is fine one minute and then another i've got to rush to the toilet. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.....is this normal? will it get better?

Yes this is normal. It could be a symptom of caffeine withdraw. Also if you started increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet you probably increased the fiber which speeds food through the intestinal tract. Give it a little time and your body should adapt to your new healthy diet. Congratulations on making the change! Keep it up

stick with it. good kuck

It's just your bodies way of adjusting and getting used to the new eating.
It will settle down in 1-2 weeks.
Keep in there matey

It will take a couple of days for your body to adjust to your new regime.
Fresh fruit and veg and other goodies are much harder for your body to digest - which is why they are so good for you - but that is probably the reason for your tummy troubles.
Also an increase in the amount of fibre you are eating will make you need to go more often.
When I first started my healthy eating plan I was "going" 3 or 4 times a day and it was starting to freak me out a bit, but after the first week or so it settled down.
It will settle down for you too, but if you want to hold it in and bind it up a bit longer have some eggs.
Scrambled eggs done in the microwave can be very low-fat because you don't need the butter, just a dash of milk, whisk up and cook.
They'll sort you right out!
