NHFB certifications?!
Question: Has anyone taken the NHFB exam before? My gym is selling their program and have recommended them as a top certification yet I don't know much about them?

They are not an Internet certification company and so you probably what get much online. I think they sell exclusively to fitness centers. There program is very good. It is comparable to the BOC or CSCS. Their exams are very hard but the cool thing is you don't have to get a CPR cert too because their program includes CPR 1,2 and 3. Another point to consider is the fact that they are widely accepted because of their relationship with the fitness centers. Some programs, even some good ones, are not accepted because gyms may already have an agreement with another company (i.e. 24 hour fitness and NASM). You should certainly research other programs but the NHFB certification ranks up there with the best.

there are several certifications for being a trainer. google trainer certifications to compare types. some of the tests are more expensive, too.
