you have the early symptoms of the flu, do yourself and your co-practitioners a break and stay home. Otherwise you risk worsening your own symptoms and spreading it to all of the others you come in contact with, you don't need that and neither do they. What is more important? Your health, and the health of others or a practise session that can be made up?

Try having something not too heavy like fruit, a banana or honeydew melon.
If you can get some Peptobismol (stomach medicine in pink bottle) i live in the UK but not sure if you can get it where you are. That works for me.

If you really HAVE to go to the practice, then make sure you keep yourself hydrated. Gatorade and water are the best sources of hydration for someone with your symptoms.

Also, try to eat foods that are hearty in proteins like cheese and meats. But, nothing fried or breaded or greasy. So no chicken fingers!

Otherwise, rest is the best thing you can do for your body and if you are able to, you should just go home and rest!

Light weight meals, clear liquids basically.
You can take an antihistamine, which can help with your nausea, but it might make you sleepy for practice. I guess it depends if this is for a play, baseball, or your basement band.
